Another Match!!! This time it is a whale that returned to the Antarctic Penninsula. The catalog photo was 2001 photo taken in the Peninsula by Eduardo Secchi (Brazilian research group Projeto Baleias Antarctica). And this flickr photo by journeylatinamerica was taken February 12, 2008!
It is such a huge ocean ... hard to imagine how they find their way back to old feeding grounds. And I'd love to know where they go in between!
