So, I got this old Brownie 620 (that, incidentally, was Made in England, so I guess it's possible these pics were taken in England, too) that had film still in it, but I could not get the film advance dial to turn at all. Finally I just had to open up the back of the camera, but even then, I couldn't remove the inner cone. I wound up having to cut the film (which broke my heart a bit) and yanking really hard to get the cone removed. After this fiasco, I knew that I probably had only a few frames of film that I could develop, and even that was mangled and chewed up.
The problem? Whoever had loaded the camera stuck 120 Anscopan film in a 620 only camera.
After I developed the film and saw that of the 3 frames I was able to salvage, they were all of women in bathing suits on the beach, I had to laugh - I can just imagine the original photographer being so incredibly pissed that his camera jammed up and he wasn't able to get any more bikini pics.
This is my favorite pic of the bunch. I had to scan it in as color in able to get any sort of contrast. The black area in the bottom was where the film had been chewed and torn away.
