This heart pattern is from an old "Workbasket" magazine. I mounted it onto nylon net, using invisible nylon thread to sew it on. The assembly was then hand sewn into a cut-out section on a blouse. Simple tatted edging lightly tacked on around.

Thank you! The edging is just R 3-3, cl r. RW. Ch 3-3-3-3. Repeat. There are no joins.
