  • It’s searching a catalogue of museum objects, all of which have images. So results are presented as images.
  • I don’t think we implemented advanced search in the end, thank god.

Image-based Search Results for Museum Collection

The final product:

- The main colcetions page

- A search which returns ALL items.

- Example of a page that shows best-bets (inside the blue box).

- A record display page. When viewing a specific record, thumbnail images of neighbouring records are shown.

There are a couple of issues with the final implementation but it's a good product.
