Look I took one of these back when I wasn't as good as I am now, and these comments are extremely uncalled for and very hurtful. When you're just starting out, obviously you're not going to be as good and some shots are just silly. There's no point in picking out every flaw just because you don't like a photo. We all learn from our mistakes and being criticized harshly even when we didn't know or want the photo broadcasted in this category really does down us. Please have some respect and put yourself in our shoes.

Considering that it's from a VERY popular mainstream movie, I don't think it's that creative. Just my opinion. 6th is about the stupidest, randomest thing I've ever seen. Love eric_12's suggestion though.

I am intrigued by the criteria with which people are judging these portraits. It turns out they are not creative enough, not professional enough, and not political enough. It's a bit sad when photographers lose the capacity to appreciate content over technique. These were all designed to be lighthearted and fun. They all succeed admirably.

O.K. sure they were all designed to be light hearted and fun, but I don't think the succeed at all. They all strike me as uncomfortable, and not very strong aesthetically.

These are some great/entertaining photos! My fave is easily Mr & Mrs Smith because it JUST ROCKS! But a close second is the damsel in distress for it's adorable, enjoyable geek factor. Overall, it really looks like all couples involved had a great time! To the photographer: You've given these folks a unique and fun memory, don't worry about rude comments because, A) Some people don't have a sense of humor and, B) Unfortunately, there are a ton of bitter people who pick a link and with the intention of finding something to be negative about.

These are extremely bad and I wouldn't know any of them were engagment pictures if it wasn't for the title of this page. Nothing says I'm getting married like sitting in a grocery cart or laying by an arrow. I thought the one at the abandoned gas station was a nice pic but again it does not scream "we're engaged". As far as I could tell it was just couples making goofy non romantic pictures.

I have always used coupons, but if I thought the generic was cheaper I would just buy that instead of the smaller name brand size or even samples from "Get Official Samples" can help
