I am running Vista (Business Edition). You
can adjust the icon size by holding the
"CTRL" key and then either drag
your mouse or use the mouse wheel. To get
the "list" layout, I use a small,
non-resident program called Iconlayout. You put it in your path, run it, set the
icon layout you want, click save, then put a
shortcut to it in your startup
folder. Example:
"C:\iconlayout.exe -r" which tells
it to restore the icon layout then exit.
The IM program is Trillian Astra which I am alpha testing. I have 3 Jabbers,
Google Talk, AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo, Bonjour,
IRC, Astra, Facebook, MySpace, and Xfire all
running in one program at a fraction of the
resources. It also does Now
Playing, Weather, and RSS. Skin for Astra is
Cobalt, custom window is Vista Glass.
I have patched Vista to allow for custom
visual styles, and the visual style is Cleaero.
I use John's Background Switcher for my wallpaper, and never know what is
going to come up since it uses Yahoo, Flickr,
and more Internet places to get it's images.
