girls
Taken at the first OneUp meet, using ben's fresh sigma 10-20mm.
It has been a good while since i just let it all hang loose in photoshop - i had forgotten how relaxing it was, as my mind just turns off and all the outside noise of the world is delightfully attenuated.
SB-800 into the ghetto ringlight. lots of post work, but not because of them.

domestic violence
Jen and Niko iron out some issues.
Ben, marc and niko - thanks for letting me borrow gear.
SB-26 1/4 power shot into a silver umbrella on a boom (reflector arm,) almost in line with the chokee's eyes, about 4 feet away total. SB-28 on the left side on the ground with the paper bounce card for fill, 1/2 power 6~ feet away. SB800 behind subjects for a bit of separation, and the sun for a light on jen's hair. Triggered via pocket wizards.
Shot using my 105 2.5, @ 2.8. I may not always be happy with my camera, but i LOVE that it syncs at 1/1000th with pocket wizards - prevents having to use NDF's most of the time and really helps with lighting control.

as the sun rises...
...i am usually asleep.
info:
shot using a 105 2.5 non-ai on an extention tube (40~mm.)
Lit using an SB-28 and an SB-26. The SB-26 was put into a homemade beauty dish a bit above and down toward the flower and gelled 1/4 CTO.
the 28 was behind the flower, but didn't fire thanks to the wonderful GI triggers. And i'm glad it didn't, since this result was much, much nicer imo.
this was raw-converted only, even if it was tinkered with a LOT in raw.
