533: Travis' Big Dummy

533: Travis' Big Dummy

Our Surly Big Dummy is our go-to vehicle for hauling kids, groceries, library books and the occasional rain barrel. It's an older "swoop" frame in dark green, I've powder coated the Kickback, P-Racks, Wideloaders, stoker stem/bars to match the stock frame. Schmidt front generator hub, Rohloff rear. Rims are Velocity P35s with woodgrain finish. Laced with black downhill spokes and black nipples, all rolling on Schwalbe Fat Frank tires. Avid BB7 brakes, 203 mm rotors, Paul Love Lever 2.5 with Jagwire Kevlar cables. Brooks Conquest saddle, Thomson post, Salsa Stem, On-One Mary handlebar. Supernova E3 front light, Supernova rear is planned to be installed in the rear face of the FlightDeck.

We cover 20-70 miles a week of hauling loveliness, mostly urban riding on the streets of Philadelphia. Sometimes we tackle the roads less traveled as well.
