The design of these laptops if phenomenal! I
sure wish I had waited when I bought my MBP!
:-) I have the year old 15 inch 2.6 Ghz MBP
instead..still a good system, but the body
just isn't nearly as neat! :-)

Yeah the design is fabulous but you have a
perfectly good MBP! Your MBP is even faster
than mine by a smidgeon!
This one's only a 2.4GHz. With the money you
saved get more RAM and a bigger HD =). I
waited and waited though to get this MacBook
Pro because I had an aging MacBook which was
just too slow for my purposes.

Yep, I did get more ram. :-) I have it maxed
at 4 gigs right now and the 200 gig 7200 rpm
HD. I'll wait until they get a 7200 rpm drive
that's a big larger in capacity and then
upgrade it I believe. 200 gigs is so little
these days!
I upgrade from a 2.0 Ghz G5 iMac. Still a
very nice computer and I use it was an
entertainment system for movies and music
mostly. I had to buy the MBP last year for
some of the GIS software I use. The software
only runs on Windows so I bought a Mac! :-P
Thank you Bootcamp!!!
