Chinese Calligraphy Materials

Porcelain Cup. This is where you pour the ink from the bottle. Easily washable.
Ink Bottle. Ready-made ink may be bought for calligraphy or painting. Much easier than grinding your materials before use.
Ink Stone. Used to hold the ink. Pour a small amount of water inside, then get the ink stick and using a clockwise motion, sort of stir the water with the stick. It produces ink.
Cover for the Ink Stone.
Ink Stick. This is what produces the ink and eventually gets smaller from use for the production of ink. Use in one motion (clockwise).

Chinese Calligraphy. Check the picture for notes on what each one is. :)

I'll be using some of these for my Chinese Painting class. These same materials can be used for Chinese calligraphy.
