Had just a little time last night to shoot some photos so that's what I did. I was a little late and missed the best light and also wasn't in the greatest spot (the sun had set off to the right and the sky in that direction was pretty awesome looking, unfortunately for me to try to catch it I'd have some houses and other distracting elements in the shot. I'm going to be scouting some better evening locations shortly.) I washed the car on Saturday and installed my yellow foglight bulbs and lamin-x on Sunday along with the red belt line trim (had to start ditching some of the chrome, I hate chrome). I can't wait to lower this and get the stance where I like it but even with the suv-like wheelgap and stance I can live with it for a little bit.

My new wheels :-) yes it's my photo of the day for the 24th, I skipped editing a bunch of days and also am breaking my macro theme for this day, oh well, my rules so I can break them if I want.
Anyways, this is my new car, it's a blank slate as of now and I've got some fun plans for it :-) It's an 06 Cooper S and has pretty low miles, it's a perfect platform for someone like me. I'll be changing the aesthetics shortly (grill, lights, trim, etc, minor stuff), and come spring will be addressing the unsightly wheel gap and installing the BBS R90's I've been meaning to refinish for a while (gold of course). I'm going to have a lot of fun with this one so stay tuned. This was the first day I had it home so I just headed out and snapped a quick shot, I plan on getting much better shots in the future.

Zoey pausing for a moment while playing early one afternoon. There was pretty decent light coming in that day so I thought I'd pull out the 135mm and snap a few.

A rather unhappy kitty (well, even when she is happy she looks like this).

A close up of a small tag on a new shirt I got recently. I've always loved the classic Vans logo so thought I'd do a close up.
