Montrose Ave. Sinkhole (1/6)

Montrose Ave. between the brown line and Wolcott. A water main broke, causing a massive sinkhole that destroyed the street and sidewalk.

holy crap!

this has been a weird morning. the train operator kept saying all this stuff that i couldn't understand and then when i got off the train, all around the mart was a ton of traffic, everyone honking, with no obvious problem. maybe it's the apocalypse.

We had to walk through an alley to cross the street. Lots of confusion. Whenever you hear a helicopter overhead in our neighborhood you know something is wrong.
