For a project where I combined contemporary Japanese style photography with traditional origami.

It's made from 12 unique photographs of water which are folded and then slotted together.

This is for a project titled ‘Self/Other’ exploring relationships. I decided to focus on memories or ‘forgotten memories’. My starting point was childhood so I visited the V&A Museum of Childhood for inspiration. I then decided to find my parents old toys which I used in my final piece. The toys are useless but when they are found fond memories return, which is why they are kept in the loft rather than being thrown away.
