This mausoleum is one of the highlights in the Hauptfriedhof in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The mausoleum was built by Friedrich Ludwig von Gans in 1909, and was taken over by the Frankfurter Verein für Feuerbestattungen (Frankfurt Society for Cremation) in 1932. The name of the society is written around the lower edge of the dome. The design was based on the Tempietto in the cloisters of S. Pietro in Montorio, Rome (1502), the architect was Friedrich Christoph Hausmann.
The next time I visit, I hope to take some photos of the interior.
