A detail of the craters Copernicus and Eratothenes. Copernicus is about 93 km wide and some 3.8 km deep. Taken through a Philips SPC 900NC webcam attached to a 250 mm diameter Newtonian telescope (focal length 1250mm) and a 2x Barlow lens, which basically means a focal length of 2500mm. The best frames were stacked and processed in Registax, then further processed and sharpened/cropped in Photoshop CS3.

was, so kurz vorm Ziel und dann doch nicht gelandet? Unglaublich, was auch ohne sauteures Observatorium möglich ist.
