Hiragana Chart

Hiragana Chart by xmarkoz.
The kids in japan start to learn this alphabet, then when they know a lot of kanjis, they replace the hiragana. The Katakana is used for extranger words, or to know the chinese reading of a kanji.
When a kanji is unknown, the hiragana reading is on the left of the character to know the reading, this wiriting the japaneses call it Furigana.

Thats what i have understood.

Los niños en japon comienzan aprendiendo este alfabeto, cuando tienen ya conocimientos en varios kanji, remplazan el hiragana por estos mismos. El Katakana es usado practicamente para escribir palabras extrangeras o para leer la forma china de los caracteres kanji.
Cuando un Kanji no es reconocido, al lado izquierdo del mismo se pone la lectura hiragana, a este modo de escritura se le conoce como Furigana.

Eso es lo que tengo entendido.
