Annapurna Circuit

Annapurna Circuit

Day Fourteen: Our last day of hiking on the circuit. After crossing the pass you enter the Kali Gandaki valley, which is the deepest canyon in the world, sandwiched between two 26,000+ ft mountains. It is a lot drier on this side as well. It is what I imagine Tibet to look like. At the end of the day we would reach the town of Jomsom, where we would take a bus back to Pokhara. The construction of a road has reduced to Circuit to about half the length of what it once was. Regardless of this, it is still an amazing experience that neither of us will ever forget.
