This li'l guy had been pawed mercilessly by a lot of strangers, but you're actually not seeing smudges here as much as -- wait for it -- the reflection of a nearby tree. Honest. The screen is f'n amazing, holds up great with dirty hands and scratch action.

Does not hold up as well as the iPhone under excessive pawing and scratching from strangers.

About 5 minutes into this demo Joz was giving me and Charles Golvin from Forrester, a bunch of paparazzi shoved their lenses toward the phone, and tons of eager customers piled on, bam, what a crush -- for a moment it was really scary -- like the phone was Paris Hilton.

Perhaps a case that disguises it as an iPod could keep people away.
