THE STORM

Newer Older

Another image from earlier this summer. I thought it would be fitting since typhoon warning 3 is out now in Hong Kong. I was very lucky this day not to get hit by this storm. Hong Kong island did get hit by this storm which was moving from left to right (east to west).

4 image pano * 3 image automated exposure blend. It was extremely windy when I took it. I'm glad the images still came out ok.

The tall shiny building is ICC. The bridge is the Stonecutters bridge. Both relatively new additions to the Hong Kong skyline.

I have been so many times to this spot always hoping for a stormy sky and no pollution. After many tries I finally got it. I think that's what I learned from some of my contacts who are landscape photographers. You just need to keep on trying.
