Those are my last days in Rio... also I decided to spend the afternoon on the beach of Ipanema. The sun was strong and hot, the sea had a fantastic color and its temperature was just perfect. It was a great and unique saturday in Rio.

The story:
The traditional range of the Guaraní people includes what is now Paraguay, the Northeast of Argentina, southern Brazil and parts of Uruguay and Bolivia. They actually lived there before the countries and the frontiers existed.
The Guaraní Indians are deeply spiritual people and extremely silent. They talk minimum but their words are rich in images and expressions.
For the Guaraní, land is the origin of all life. For long, they have been searching for a place revealed to them by their ancestors where people live free from pain and suffering. A "land without Evil".
In the last century, the Guaraní have been affected by the loss of almost all their land. Especially in certain areas of Brazil.
Guaraní children starve and their leaders have been assassinated.
In Brazil, there are today around 46,000* Guaraní living in seven states, making them the country's most numerous tribe.
