Half Rack: ~ 22 x 36 x 40
Mac Mini: ~ 6.5 x 6.5 x 2
Looks like you could cram somewhere close
to 375 mac mini's in there... good space
utilization ;-)

ShaneC: 375 Mac minis? Do you plan to cut
them into pieces? :-) I'd rather say between
300 and 330 depending on the orientation.

Furbo: Nope. Didn't need the switch there,
but needed it a few days later--until it was
replaced with a gigE switch.
jcroft: Well, on a month-by-month basis,
the rack is cheaper than the mini. But over a
year... yah. Quite a different story. It's a
good thing that this half cab now holds a lot
more stuff--as does the half cab above where
this mini has moved along with a few Xserves
and such.
