Absolutely amazing photography. Thank you for showing us the spill through your eyes. This is much more informative than 24x7 videos of underwater oil gushing through a pipe.

Hello,
I came across your photos while searching for images of the Gulf oil spill. I found your photos very striking and I was wondering if you would be interested in contributing some pictures to a photography exhibition. I am a Student Curator at Lawrence University of Appleton, Wisconsin and my first exhibition is about a month away. For this exhibition, I have been planning to display a series of photos related to the Gulf disaster and its effects on the environment. The show will take place in our new Warch Campus Center, which has received awards for its environmentally friendly design and construction; it is part of a campus-wide intiative to be more green. This exhibition is designed to be in keeping with that movement, and also to generate more awareness in the Midwest where we are not directly affected by the catastrophic event in the Gulf and do not see its effects on a daily basis. The space is not extremely large, but it is public and receives a lot of traffic, so I am hoping to get some moving images like yours to help get the attention of each passerby. That way more individuals would think about how such events affect everyone. Please contact me if you have any interest in submitting work for the show or have any questions about this opportunity.
Thank You,
Jordan

again, love the scale and the hints at abstraction.
