According to the EXIF data it is 200mm @ f4.5 - doesn't say which lens, exactly, just the focal length. The quality of your shots at ISO 1600 is really awesome. I am shooting with a Nikon D100 and mine are a good bit noisier, even after carefully processing the RAW in Lightroom. Tips? or is it just thoses sweet Canons?

gwostrel: Yep, Flickr doesn't show as much info as Lightroom does. And different camera will embed the lens data slightly differently. For example, Lightroom doesn't have as much data about that lens when I use it on my 20D as it does on the 5D.

And, there's no careful processing. That's just the sweetness of the Canon CMOS sensor. I don't think I did any processing to that image other than maybe a rotate and a bit of levels. No noise reduction or the like other than what ACR/Lightroom does by default.

I did not realize that about different cameras - interesting. That Canon 5D is really something else. I have been a Nikon guy almost since the beginning (Pentax K1000 - '77, Canon AE1 - '79, Nikon ever since) but I am thinking it is time to jump ship.
