At MacWorld 2007, Apple has two iPhone prototypes in sealed displays where conference attendees gather and inspect the new device. The prototype itself is running a canned demo set of actions.

Are you a photojournalist? Nice news feature for soft news. Really captures the reaction to the iphone well with the expressions, and the lighting is nice and a freebie. What lens/camera were you using here? guess I should check the stats . . .

Hmmm....hype and millions of sales yes, but what a flop this turned out to be. Iphone and Iphone 3G both overhyped, those fools looking through the glass are looking at a grossly underpowered machine that lacks many many features which only 30% of them have been acheived in OS 3.0. All hail the flop, whatever Android phone comes out next or the Omnia HD and Nokia N97 will bury this pile of junk for good in the grave, the Iphone has long been overshadowed, Only the fanboys keep it alive and strong because of the name.

A flop? Hm. I don't know about a flop. Underpowered? Hm. I don't know where you're getting that from. Critics are not fanboys. And each critic that tested the iPhone before it was released raved it's technological advancements. The only downside when it was released was it's price. And today, that has been solved. I look at the competition (knock-offs) and compare. I don't see how anyone would NOT buy an iPhone over the competition. I'm not sure where these claims of yours are coming from... but they aren't very strong.

You don't know what you say. Simply. Because data demonstrates that your comment is BS.
The iPhone's innovation is in its easy-of-use and UI. And sure: iPhone pioneers in how to download, install and play apps in a simple way.
People want a phone that works. And that's what the iPhone does. Apple is near to sell about 50millions iPhones in probably 3 years or less (june2010). A flop? oh really :D I think Apple wants many flop like this!
iPhone will be my mobile device platform phone at least for the next 10-15y. And so for many.

^^^ How is it BS, fanboy number 2?
Yes, the user experience is second to none but the limitations show. What Apple is, is that of a greedy maniacal company that drives it's employees to suicide for leaking a 4th generation prototype, what Apple is also doing is poisoning the smartphone industry by claiming that HTC and others are infringing on an invention it did NOT create. The fact that is still can't do more than several applications speaks volumes, Apps don't make the Phone you idiot, keep telling yourself that, god you really are more brainwashed and more of a Steve Jobs Cokcsucking errand boy more than I imagined you to be, unfortunately the hype seems to have brainwashed a lot of sheep who are now starting to see the light and move onto more open platforms like Android and with Windows Phone 7 around the corner, what's Apple going to do? Make a snapdragon processor and then claim it's revolutionary just because Apple are using it, then they'll patent it and claim that HTC/Google/Nokia/Microsoft infringed thier patent, the fact is they can try and sue but they'll come out losing millions. The technical innovations were there before Apple came and grabbed someone else's idea. And Greg, NOT buy an iphone over anything else? Has it occured to you there are 6 billion people in this world, half of them in the developed world DON'T own an Iphone, they either own a Nokia/Blackberry, the former being everywhere in India/China and Europe. Have you actually moved your butt out of the States. You really need to get your heads out of your asses and realise there ARE a majoirty of people who use something which ISN'T an iphone, I'm no fanatical fanboy of any certain platform OS or company and if they suck, they suck and I base my decisions on choosing without bias. Iphone the next platform for the next 10-15 years? That's if they don;t bust themselves up with this ridiculous patent suing and the fact that the iphone has remain unchanged since 2007, come 2015, what's gonna be new? An 8Mp camera with led flash and a 1.3 ghz processor when the likes of Android/MeeGo/Symbian/Windows will have moved up a notch to 2.5.
The way the 'non-fanatical one sided narrow minded fanboy' sees it going with the way Jobs and Co show a stingy approach to each new generation. consumers will and already are flocking to a more attractive OS that is yet to mature but is growing by numbers. Roll on Android and Windows Phone 7 Series, Apple will definitely be looking to partner with one of the two giants to save it's own backside from being forgotten and left at the bottom by whcih that time, the majority of Android/Windows users will be all former Iphone consumers who just got sick and tired of Apple's stingy approach/ridiculous contract stipulations and the fact that the (sometimes exploding) battery has to be taken back to Apple and with a communist like control over it's OS.

there are plenty, and i mean plenty of other videos I could have posted, but they were purposely anti apple. I chose these specific two because there were perfectly good reasons why the individuals chose another platform or OS that isn't restrictive and SERVE the needs of that individual. PROOF why the Iphone isn't for everybody, moron.
