/ecosystem/Video:Bird/Malabar Whistling-thrush(Bird Song)/Myophonus horsfieldii

Ambyvalley road,Lonavala,Mah.,India

also aptly called Whistling Schoolboy.I don't see it but then you hear the most melodious bird song....it starts at the crack of dawn and then sings intermittently throughout the day....endemic to peninsular India/Westernghats....found in the hills at dense riverine forests, stays close to flowing water as it bathes frequently. This is all I could manage, any closer and it would stop abruptly...with 4 months of heavy fog

and wind it is difficult to spot birds...Please turnup the volume.
