One of the small breakout reading groups used by our school. I'm always amazed, when watching teachers, at how much they have to juggle. This reading class had about 15 students in it. Everyone had some busywork sorting/pasting project to do and they rotated five kids to a focus table to receive some attention from the teacher. In reality, the needy kids outside the circle competed for the teacher's time and fragmented the opportunity for learning.
