Cazal 735 Vintage Sunglasses. Lens 59mm D.B.L. 14mm Frame Model 302 Gold/ Black.

I have a funny story about this Cazal 735 Vintage sunglasses. About 2 years ago I was looking at all my sunglasses and thinking "what else would I want?". Conclusion is a Cazal!

Vintage Sunglasses Shop.com from Germany has wide selection of cazal models. Not knowing which one to go for, I start to browse from 100 to 900 Series. Some models are too expansive and most others are too crazy for daily wear. Cazal 735 seems to have a good balance of uniqueness with sophisticated design. There were 2 Cazal 735s available on the site. One is 302 Gold/Black, the other is 370 Gold/Brown. The site were asking $160 USD for each. Since they got two pairs and I had to buy some Oakley for summer sport, I've decided to wait.

March 2009, Brad Pitt show up on tabloids & magazines wearing the Cazal 735. Folks at Celebrity Sunglasses Finder already asking what he is wearing and where to get them. Recognized the model, I know I am in trouble. 2 pair of Cazal 735 from Vintage Sunglasses Shop.com were GONE, less than 10 min after CSF's post. I was VERY very angry about the situation and VERY very angry at Mr. Pitt for ruined my shopping plan.

Technically, Cazal 735-302 Gold/Black is not the exact model Brad Pitt is wearing. Frame model 302 has black paint over the lens rim, bridge & temples. Frame model 370 Gold/Brown has brown paint. if you look closely at Brad Pitt's 735, there are no paint marks at all. It is just pure gold frame. I have research all websites including Italian & Japanese ones and has never encounter the exact model that he is wearing. Only an expert would know the production data and model number for it.

735-302 is harder to come by on the used market than 735-370.
