This chap (who's name I can't remember at the moment), was huuuge. He seemed to particularly like people dressed in red.

Carved

Rock etched away by the previous path of the glacier. I have never seen a more gravelly place than Alaska. Visiting the glacier made me understand why!

It was a slightly murky day when we went to visit Exit glacier near Seward, Alaska.
Still quite a spectacular thing, and the first glacier I'd ever seen.

Scenic

The whole of Alaska was decidedly scenic. This was taken at a brief stop off on our drive back towards Anchorage from Seward, just at the branch off the Seward highway towards Homer.
