SR 99 Aurora Bridge Mockup Panel

Just after sunrise on Sunday, March 29, WSDOT bridge maintenance crews closed two southbound lanes on Seattle's Aurora Bridge to install a replica of a fence panel the WSDOT is designing for the bridge.

WSDOT bridge maintenance crews constructed and mounted the mockup panel. The city of Seattle Landmarks Board Architectural Review Committee requested that WSDOT install the mockup panel so they could better visualize the design.

The mockup is a near-identical replica of our fence design. The main difference is that the mockup is wooden while the fence will be steel.
