SR 519_Sept28 Falsework repair

Crews work with a tow truck on Fourth Avenue S. in Seatttle to repair falsework beams that were moved out of alignment when an overheight semi struck them on Friday, Sept. 24. Crews used the tow truck equipped with a winch to jack up the horizontal beam and relieve pressure on the vertical beams. Relieving the pressure worked. The beams went back into alignment. The falsework is supporting construction of a new I-90 off-ramp to Edgar Martinez Drive near Safeco Field as part of the SR 519 Intermodal Access project.
