This is the recipe that kicked off my holiday confectionery adventure. In past years, I baked plenty of cookies for gifting so I was eager to try something new this year. Last Christmas my foray to fudge was a success and it gave me confidence to dive in.
I started off with one of the easiest candies: crunchy toffee. A base
of crunchy buttery almond toffee is topped with dark chocolate and
more roasted almonds. I absolutely love the shattering texture!
