I awake at 4:15am and pack everything where I'm camping in Jackson Hole and I'm on the road in no time.
I got up early enough to head into town first and grab a large coffee and some energy food, gas up and head north.
Within 20 minutes I've parked and walked a short distance for a spectacular dawn over the lake. All's sooooo quiet and I have the place all to myself. Well, not quite. Deer and elk are passing close by in the trees and open areas nearby. Not a lot of early risers here. They're already on the trails hiking in the Tetons.
This was shot in late September during the height of the fall colors in the Tetons...and I'll be headed here again in late September on my way down from Banff where I'll be shooting the fall colors in Banff, Jasper, Yoho and many other areas, .
Thanks for stopping by.
