I know I nearly wet my pants when I saw it.....they were in a old vintage and collectibles shed they were having a closing down sale and had the most incredible china sets for sale. I live along the bay in Victoria, Australia.... :-)

Lovely, I had a similar find - vintage china with blue birds - will get round to photographing and posting one day.

These are gorgeous!! And a thrift store find, how cool is that?! Although, a little sad for me, I did track this pic down from pinterest and was hoping to find them somewhere for sale ;)

Same as OutInTheSticks - I followed goodness knows how many links via blogs and pinterest, hoping to buy a set!

I've spent hours looking for a trace of this pattern on line after seeing it on pinterest too. To trace it here, at least I have closure. But...is there a pattern and name on these. Hope springs eternal, even if I am in Los Angeles, CA. I have found things that just touch me with the same serendipity that brought you your beautiful china. It almost seems fated.

Yes! Is there a pattern name or manufacturer information on the bottoms?

I recently moved house and was so anxious about these beauties but they made it and now have pride of place in my Kitchen....

Now that they are unpacked I can tell you the underneath stamp reads "Swallows" Grimwades England.

      Happy hunting :-)
