this woman has a university degree, but she sits on this chair the whole day, looking at the escalator. why? because the escalator is a bit broken, and if something happens, or somebody falls down, she can press the button quickly. part of the experience is that the escalator makes a lot of noise too. It's the first escalator in Chisinau, and its about 25 years old.
