Dear flickr contacts,

After long debating I have decided to move away from flickr. It is not that the platform moved away from me, but I slowly, yet steadily, moved away from flickr. I joined flickr in 2006 and have met great and wonderful people throughout the years. Due to the timeline posting method I decided to run my own photography blog in 2007. I never regretted this decision.

Keeping track of the many flickr streams and running my own photography blog requires a lot of time, precious time. Time I much rather spent on actually taking photographs.

Therefore I made up my mind and will stop keeping update my flickr stream this year. By the end of this year, 2012, I will permanently delete my flickr account.

I thank you all for viewing and commenting my photographs and I absolutely enjoyed viewing all the posted photographs by my contacts. I you still would like to follow my photography you can check or suubscripe to my blog.

I decided to continue my 365 project. 2011 was certainly an expirement, both from photographical point of view and from sharing online. In the end I realized that posting images at mulitple platforms just took too much time.

Therefore I will weekly post a photograph here I prefer the most from the previous week. The continuating PAD-project can be followed on my blog.
