US$100 Laptop - World Economic Forum Annual Meeting Davos 2006

DAVOS/SWITZERLAND, 28JAN06 - FLTR: Kemal Dervis, Administrator, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), New York, Mark Adams, Director, Head of Communications, World Economic Forum (moderator) and Nicholas Negroponte, Co-Founder and Chairman, The MIT Media Lab, and Wiesner Professor of Media Technology, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, are signing a memorandum of understanding to launch the U$100 laptop, captured at the 'The US$100 laptop' at the press conference room during the Annual Meeting 2006 of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, January 28, 2006.
