I made this quilt for some friends of mine who just had their first baby, a daughter. They love bright, bold things and are a little bit quirky, so I thought this quilt would be appropriate.
It *is* square, but of course it was windy, so this is the best shot I could get.
I made wonky log cabin blocks of different shapes and sizes, and then sashed each in Snow Kona Cotton. I cut the final blocks down to 10.5" each and sewed them together, then bound with a pieced binding made up of scraps from the log cabin blocks.
