ALBERTA, MEDICINE HAT 1915/1921 (horse) Team license plate

This appropriately "top hat"shaped license plate was used to license a team of horses working commercially in the city of Medicine Hat, Alberta Canada also known as "The Hat". This particular plate was first issued in 1915. Later the 1915 date was defaced though still quite legible and the plate was restamped with a 1921 date the "19" and the "21" on either side of the "140" serial number. This license is about 3 1/2" X 3 1/2 " in size.
