Luxembourg Neumünster und Johanneskirche
Die Stadt Luxemburg ist Hauptstadt und gleichzeitig die größte Stadt des Großherzogtum Luxemburg. Sie ist Verwaltungssitz des gleichnamigen Distrikts und Kantons. Luxemburg ist ein bedeutender Finanzplatz und gilt neben Brüssel und Straßburg als dritter Regierungssitz der Europäischen Union.
Luxemburg ist neben Metz, Saarbrücken und Trier ein Zentrum der Großregion Saar-Lor-Lux. Die vier Städte bilden seit 2006 ein grenzüberschreitendes Städtenetz namens Quattropole, das in vielfacher Weise miteinander kooperiert und ein gemeinsames Internet-Portal betreibt. 2007 ist Luxemburg zusammen mit Hermannstadt/Siebenbürgen europäische Kulturhauptstadt und vertritt die Großregion.
Die Stadt Luxemburg setzt sich aus 24 Stadtteilen zusammen: Beggen, Belair, Bonneweg Nord / Verlorenkost, Bonneweg Süd, Oberstadt (Kern der ehemaligen Festung), Cents, Cessingen, Clausen, Dommeldingen, Eich, Bahnhofsviertel, Gasperich, Grund, Hamm, Hollerich, Kirchberg, Limpertsberg, Merl, Mühlenbach, Neudorf / Weimershof, Pfaffenthal, Pulvermühle, Rollingergrund / Belair-Nord, Weimerskirch.
In der Hauptstadt findet man neben Geschäftsstraßen noch mehrere Theater. Der Place d'Armes (fertig gestellt 1671, 1986 neu angelegt), der ehemalige Paradeplatz, ist im Sommer der Treffpunkt für Jung und Alt.
Hauptmerkmal des Stadtbildes ist das Pétrussetal. Es ist Spaziergängern vorbehalten und grenzt die Oberstadt vom Bahnhofsviertel ab. Eine weitere Fußgängerzone in der Oberstadt befindet sich in der Groussgaass.
In Hamm befinden sich ein deutscher und ein amerikanischer Soldatenfriedhof mit Gefallenen des Zweiten Weltkrieges. Der amerikanische Panzergeneral George Patton hat in Hamm ebenfalls seine letzte Ruhestätte.

it seems like every one but me knows how to do this HDR thing. a nice composition. the HDR on this one though makes the photo look less like a photo and more like a digital image. maybe that is what you are going for.
