Over the long weekend of 4th I finally took the time to get down to the beach at around sunset with my camera. Admittedly, the majority of beaches around are pristine, sandy, and completely un-interesting. There is one beach that gives a taste of the rugged Northern California coast, which is where I went.
The trip was a great success, I had a bunch of fun and came back with a good handful of photos which I may get around to posting. Firstly though, I need to get my sensor cleaned as there is a large particulate of some sort accumulated there and is quite distracting. Thank goodness for the level of cloning technology available now.
I should mention that for this shot I was perched on a concrete block supporting a old rickety staircase about three feet past the high tide line. It was a sprint making it back to dry ground between knee high sets of waves.
