Another shot from the previous winter - Vistula River covered with thick ice (especially near the bank). Not thick enough to step on it unfortunately.
It was a freezing day but luckily sunny. It created great opportunities for the HDR photography as the contrast in the scene were tremendous (you know - super bright sun and snow, darker ice and very dark trees in the distant...).
Camera: Canon 400D
Lens: Canon EF-S 10-22 mm f/3.5-f/4.5
Focal length: 10 mm
HDR: handheld; from 3 photos shot at -2, 0, +2; tone-mapped in Photomatix Pro 3; fine-tuned in Gimp 2.6.10
