January 28, 028/366 (1489/1827)- My younger daughter, Rebekah, helped me for hours this afternoon cleaning the garage, putting away most of the Christmas decorations that were still in there, cleaning the house, and installing new electrical outlets in the kitchen. Since we never got out on the kayaks we decided to take off at sunset to at least get some sunset photos under the bridge, here she is taking some shots closer to the water from where I was.

There is an old broken up seawall under the new Bailey Bridge, not sure why it's even there, but makes a good photo foreground.!

January 27, 027/366 (1488/1827)- After a week of rain it's *Thank God It's Finally Flying Fisheye Friday!

This talented young lady has been in my class every day for the last four years, not the first time or last time you will see her. She is also a terrific dancer so I may get some better dance shots in the future, always good to have talented students.

January 26, 026/366 (1487/1827)- I had something else planned for today but rainy nasty cold weather prevented that, so you get a macro shot of one of my favorite glass doo-dads from around the house. This is a small marble I bought in a gift shop in southern California I brought back to my wife from a trip years ago. It's actually maybe only a little over an inch in diameter, amazing little details in there!

It's been more than a week now since I have taken a shot with my students, and now I have a whole new bunch for the rest of the year. Time to get them involved in some fun photo action tomorrow!

January 25, 025/366 (1486)- One of the guys I know from church is retired Coast Guard, and he pointed out Jupiter and the moon close to each other in the twilight sky. I drove down to the bay behind the church to get some shots in the closing minutes of twilight. It's nice to have a friend that can identify the lights in the sky
