Yesterday was movie theme day over at Whiskerino, and I picked a scene from one of my all time favorite comedies.

the supermarket thankfully sells those toy guns (as well as diapers and pantyhose), and I informed the manager, who was pretty good/cool about the whole thing (did it later in the evening so as not to disturb).

Okay, that is my favourite scene from the entire film. It doesn't matter how many times I watch it--the whole chase sequence induces the longest bout of sustained laughter every time I see it. My absolute favourite moment is near the end of the sequence, when the store clerk pulls out the shotgun, Nicholas Cage looks up at him, and gives him this wounded look--like his feelings have been hurt--then runs in the other direction. Genius. And what is it with the house he and the dogs run through?? Isn't there a tv on in every room, but nobody around? LMAO.
Oh, and: "Son, you gotta a panty on yer head."

To anyone guessing -- yes, this is my version of a scene from the movie "Raising Arizona" (where H.I. is running through the grocery store getting shot at as we steals Huggies). If you haven't seen it, I highly suggest (one of the first movies the Coen Brothers did)

Just see their new one. Its good but very DARk. There was a muted silence when the film finished.

Also this was probably the last film that Nic Cage had any real hair.
