The only other time I had seen one of these (Carly had never seen one) was last March in Texas. It was a long way away but I could ID it by the crazy "dancing" motion it was making rushing around the shallows. Some say that the seemingly erratic behavior is meant to startle it's prey and force it to move out into the open. We were lucky enough to see this one about fifteen feet off of the wildlife drive AND it even did some of it's dance for us before flying off.
