On April 27, 2012, Ambassador Nicolas Niemtchinow, Permanent Representative of France to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva (right), met Francis Gurry, in his capacity of Secretary General of the International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (UPOV), to deposit France’s instrument of accession to the UPOV Convention.
