Winster, Derbyshire
Millward, Amy, Derek, John & William
Bill Millward and his two sons were all members of the Odd Fellows in Winster (The Loyal Triumphant Hope Lodge No. 1543). This Lodge was active in the late c19 but continued into the c20 before being absorbed into a neighbouring Lodge as the Winster membership declined.
John Millward (known as "Gunner") contributed his memories of Winster by way of a recorded interview in September 1992. Some of these memories were included in the book: "Winster - A Peak District Remembers" which was published in June 2000 by Winster Local History Group.
The memorial is in the Churchyard (south side of the Church).
