Temple of Asclepius, Villa Borghese Gardens, Rome

Experiments in HDR: This one worked pretty well too, keeping the nice deep colors of the foliage and pond without having the temple washed out as it was in the single exposure.

This is a reproduction of an ancient Greek temple, which was installed at the villa as a decorative landscape feature during the 1800s.

It is a huge park, maybe somewhat bigger than Hyde Park, but including several villas and art museums. I must confess I sought out this particular spot based solely on a couple lovely photos submitted earlier to the World Icon pool. But there are many other beautiful places to explore here.

Thanks, Steve, I appreciate it. Like any other technique, sometimes HDR works better than others. But it makes for some fun experiments and it forces me to slow down and get the tripod out.
