day thirty. like playing the piano

we had this photography seminar with a professor who had been given this huge box of Faber Castell polychromos that are so amazing and smell so good, and she made us draw something as an assignment about colors and stuff, and i had to take the picture because they looked so great all together!

ahh, too bad the seminar is over. it was fun.

Sweet DOF and composition. I love how your eye gently zeroes in on the centre pencils. The way the out of focus pencils blend together into smooth bands of colour is also quite lovely. Nice work!

the hand picking up one of the colour pencils is a nice touch to the photo. makes it look more interesting if compared to a normal shoot of the colour pencils :D
