I'm torn between too many things; step in or step out, do this or do that, tell her or never say it, study or procrastinate, give up or give in, read or write, win or lose.

I think I choose giving up.

lazy sundays

my day consisted on a fifteen km morning run, scary howling wind, writing writing writing, thirteen thousand six hundred words, green tea, trees and branches swaying wildly in the wind, tv low in the background, coffee with milk and sweet things. yesterday was a failure; decided to take it easy today.

mom and dad went to the village, sister and I didn’t go. they came back with sugary pastries and hot chocolate.

now I’m here sipping my coffee, staring out the window, squeezing words out of my brain. nanowrimo is going well. don’t have a plot but I love my characters. don't care if I don't finish; I'm glad I managed to write so much.

Panellets!

It's not common to celebrate Halloween in Catalunya. Instead, we have La Castanyada, and we eat roasted chestnuts and bake panellets.

My mother and I spent the whole evening baking these little, delicious things. Almonds, coconut, pine nuts, chocolate, even coffee & whiskey.
