Chipping away at piggy, wasting a lot of my stone, which has a lean to it that must be corrected and little surprises like the hole in the side where loose dirt was embedded.

Beginning..
I started to carve a soapstone pig today. I've spent about 5 hours shaping a flat-sided block of Brazilian soapstone into the rough pig shape. The fine powder surrounding the pig is a product of the carving and can be marketed as talcum powder. (He's about 1 ft. long).
